Obesity Factors
The excess calories are not the only cause that weight continues to increase. There are many other unexpected factors that make the target to gain proportional weight is more difficult to achieve.
1. Lack of sleep; There are two things that are related to sleep and obesity. First, the more often you stayed up late the more likely you are snacking at night which results in extra calories that are taken. The second thing is related to the chemicals in the body. When we stayed up late, the hormone that triggers the appetite will be issued, as a result we will feel hungry when we wake up. This hormone is also making the stomach never felt satiated.
2. Stress; When we are having various problems and bustles, the body will adapt by getting out the cortical hormone or the stress hormone. This hormone can increase the appetite, so it’s no wonder when we are chasing by deadlines or under a stress, we will be taking much foods.
3. Drugs, Antidepressant drug is a type of drug that can increase the weight, especially when it’s taken in a long time. Other drugs that are needed to be aware of are the drug for mental disorders, hypertension drugs, migraine drugs, and diabetes.
4. Hyperthyroid, When the thyroid gland (located around the neck, shaped like a butterfly) are not able to produce enough thyroid hormone, then we would feel the symptoms of tiredness, weakness, and increased weight. When the body is having lack of thyroid, the metabolism will be slows so that the body become fat.
