Protein and Your Diet
Protein is necessary for the body to build muscle, skin tissue, hair, nails and others. But be careful, eating protein too much could endanger your health. There have been many scientific studies that prove the dangers of excess protein for the body. Many people doing diet by reducing fat foods and increased the protein. The man who wants to have big muscles also intentionally increase intake of protein in their food. Though the concept was wrong, the excess protein is precisely the source of a disease for the body. Unlike the fat cells that can be stored inside the fat tissue, the body does not have a place to store the excess protein.
Therefore, most proteins will be converted by the body as fat before it stored. This is the key of the danger of excess protein. The more protein that is converted into fat means that the fat’s store inside the body will be increase and that means the risk of disease because of fat will coming on to you, ranging from high cholesterol to heart disease.
Excess protein is bad for the kidneys, liver and causing the body having vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Excess protein is also closely related to osteoporosis and cancer. Excess protein can produce keton compounds that are toxic. These compounds will cause the kidneys to work harder to get them out of the body. As a result, the kidneys will need more water and that’s where the dehydration comes from.
