During the time of its life, the hair also went through a phase of resting (telogen), and the phase of hair loss. The causes of telogen hair loss is quite vary, both internally and externally. Hormonal changes such as pregnancy or using of certain drugs can increase the number of hairs go to the resting phase and then fall. Certain diseases such as anemia, fever, or typhoid also initiated the loss at this type. Other factor that also contributed is lifestyle, such as environmental factors and using of hair-styling tools.
Another type of hair loss is anagen hair loss. Unlike the telogen hair loss, anagen hair loss actually occurs when anagen hair is at grown phases. This loss happens suddenly as a result of chemotherapy or treatments by using radiation. In addition, exposure to some types of chemicals such as thallium and arsenic can also cause suddenly hair loss like this.
