Women’s Bed Time

Women need to sleep 20 minutes more than men. Women’s brain are more complex and a lot of thinking and doing (multitasking), made them has to rest more than men. Women must have more sleep because of their larger multitasking and more complex brain than men. The more often the brain is used, the more brain cells to be rested.

Men are actually also need more sleep when they have many jobs that requires heavy thinking, but still not as much as women need. Women are having disturbed sleep than men. And one thing that disturbed woman’s sleeping is a man who is sleep next to her.

Pregnant women are also difficult to sleep because of their stomach position is rather disturbing. In addition, a mother was also more sensitive and would wake up when her child was crying. It even causes a women’s brain aging more slowly than men. A 75-year-old woman will have the same brain structure as a 70-year-old man. That means, men’s brain is getting older faster than women, which means a greater risk for dementia on men.

Averagely, adult needs to sleep 6 to 8 hrs, but each individual might be has different needs. To be sure, if you feel that your brain is often used, then you should have enough rest.
