A research that conducted on several rats that had been fed honey apparently was able to reduce their weight up to 23% compared to others that had been fed with low-sugar foods for a year (one year of rat age is the same as 20 years of human age).

They used honey that has high antioxidant content, which cause greater fat burning. All foods that contain high antioxidants like green tea can increase metabolism, which also increases the fat burning. But you must remember there are only few types of honey that rich with antioxidants.

Other studies have shown that types of honey which are often seen like honey from clover tree does not have high antioxidant content. Researchers believed that honey is good for weight loss, but only at the beginning. Adding some sweeteners in diet menu without reducing other foods in fact can increase the weight.

1. Lack of sleep; There are two things that are related to sleep and obesity. When we stayed up late, the hormone that triggers the appetite will be issued, as a result we will feel hungry when we wake up. This hormone is also making the stomach never felt satiated.

2. Stress; When we are having various problems and bustles, the body will adapt by getting out the cortical hormone or the stress hormone. This hormone can increase the appetite, so it’s no wonder when we are chasing by deadlines or under a stress, we will be taking much foods.
