Women are Consuming More Water Than Men
Women should consume more water than men because the risk of urinary tract infection is lurking more on women. Men are lucky because they had longer urinary tract anatomy rather than women, so that the risk of bacteria get into the urinary tract can be reduced. The shorter the urinary tract, the more easily bacteria to get into and attached in that area. So if averagely consumption of water is recommended for 2 liters a day, then women should drink more than that. Drink plenty of water will help the bacteria to come out from the urinary tract and reduce the risk of infection.
The definition of urinary tract is an area that includes ureter, bladder, and urethra. Urinary tract infections are usually caused by E coli bacteria.
